Michigan AgrAbility staff presented to Michigan Rehabilitation Services (MRS) counselors from three Michigan counties. Staff spoke about AgrAbility and the work Michigan AgrAbility does with farm rehabilitation clients, shared several success stories and equipment modifications, and talked about the process of working on farm rehabilitation cases. Many of the MRS counselors were newly hired and had not yet worked on a farm rehabilitation case. The veteran counselors that attended were excited to discuss their past experiences with farm rehabilitation cases and encouraged newly hired counselors and those located in urban areas to feel comfortable becoming involved in future cases.
