Karen Funkenbusch from MU Extension and Mary Bolling at Lincoln University Cooperative Extension Innovative Small Farmers' Outreach Program (LUCE ISFOP) provided a half-day AgrAbility training workshop, October 17, at the George Washington Carver Farm Lincoln University to new small farm specialists and farm outreach workers. LUCE ISFOP staff assist Missouri AgrAbility in East Central, West Central, and the Southwest Regions of Missouri. The ISFOP staff provide MO AgrAbility assistance to all farmers, both urban and rural, and to small-scale operators including backyard gardeners.

Missouri AgrAbility was recognized as the Rural Missouri Track Sponsor for the Brain Injury Association of Missouri (BIA-MO) 19th Annual Statewide Conference. Marketing activities included an exhibit that featured tools of the Missouri AgrAbility Jessup Wagon in partnership with Lincoln University, and Mary Bolling discussing specifics about the tools with more than 250 attendees of the conference.

BIA-MO Conference sessions featured Missouri AgrAbility staff and partners. Karen Funkenbusch shared information about Missouri AgrAbility on the "Navigating State and Community Resources for Long-Term Support" panel discussion as well as served on the planning committee. Dr. Amy Patillo with University of Missouri Extension - Springfield presented "Supporting a Path to Successful Self-Employment" at the BIA-MO Conference.
