This month Emily Whittier, Washington AgrAbility co-coordinator, continued a partnership with local personal protective equipment distributions for farmers and had the opportunity to give materials and an informal presentation about AgrAbility to a crew of farmers in southern Washington. Along the way, she distributed AgrAbility fliers and pamphlets to local farm and feed stores.
Alyssa Wade and Emily Whittier presented at WSU's "Cultivating Success Whole Farm Planning" class. The presentation discussed the AgrAbility program and how the new or seasoned farmers in attendance could use the program. The presentation was virtual and attended by about 40 current or future farmers in WA State. Thank you to the Cultivating Success team for the invitation, and to Washington State University Extension's Erica Tello for the live Spanish interpretation of the presentation.
