AgrAbility for Africa

Together with partners, AgrAbility for Africa staff is expanding and extending health and nutrition information to rural Africa in support of better personal care, early diagnosis, and treatment for different health conditions. These efforts sometimes relate directly to lifestyle improvement, such as encouraging clean energy to prevent smoke inhalation from cooking on firewood, which is the most common cooking fuel source. Using firewood for cooking increases the risk of lung cancer and other respiratory conditions, and it can expose girls to sexual harassment while they are collecting wood in the wild.
