Georgia AgrAbility client Donald Adams and his dog Skippy were awarded the 2024 American Farm Bureau Federation 2024 Farm Dog of the Year Award! Donald received Skippy from PHARM Dog USA. We want to say a huge thank you to PHARM DOG USA! They have forever changed Donald's life with Skippy. On January 24th, Mental Health Day at the Capitol was attended by many key figures assisting farmers throughout Georgia. The Georgia AgrAbility veteran liaison as well as members from the Georgia Department of Agriculture, Georgia Farm Bureau, Mercer School of Medicine, UGA Extension, and Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities attended to continue to bring awareness to the stressors of the rural farming populations.
