AgrAbility booth with materials on tables and LifeLyfts John Deere tractor with lift at Ft Wayne Farm ShowThe annual Fort Wayne Farm Show in January attracts about 35,000 visitors, most of whom are from the tri-state area of Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. As they have for many years, the Indiana AgrAbility/Purdue Agricultural Safety & Health team hosted a display highlighting AgrAbility programs and resources at the Fort Wayne show. The AgrAbility team was joined by LifeLyfts by Life Essentials, which brought a lift-equipped compact utility tractor to display and demonstrate.

Jeopardy game with youth standing around it at Purdue Extension displayThis year, the AgrAbility/Purdue team collaborated with Purdue Extension educators from northeast Indiana to promote farm safety and health efforts, including AgrAbility. The Purdue Extension display, which was near the AgrAbility exhibit, featured Gearing Up for Safety Jeopardy. During the three-day show, more than 2000 show attendees participated in answering over 800 farm safety Jeopardy questions. The collaboration was successful for both organizations, and highlighted the value and importance of AgrAbility staff working with local Extension personnel.
