In 2023, NC AgrAbility, as part of the Agromedicine platform at NC A&T, piloted partnering with various Stop the Bleed (STB) trainers to bring this important training to 150 NC farmers and FSA agents and as a means to discuss the kinds of injuries often leading to NC AgrAbility services. Participants also receive STB kits. This has become a popular training, and in January, NC presented to 35 farmers in the Small Farmers 360 program. From this training, three more requests were made by farmers to bring this training and to spread the word about NC AgrAbility to farmers in their home counties.
