Ohio AgrAbility started the year with big plans for outreach, education, and engagement. Disability Services Coordinator Laura Akgerman presented "Accessible Agritourism" to the American Conifer Society January 27. This was the first of two Ohio AgrAbility presentations for the ACS, as Laura will be presenting "Gardening Across the Lifespan" at the ACS annual conference in June.
Project Director Dee Jepsen promoted Ohio AgrAbility at a recent state specialist networking meeting. Attendees included many state specialists from across the OSU College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. The meeting was a great opportunity to share information about Ohio AgrAbility and meet state specialists to collaborate with on future education and outreach opportunities.
