On March 15th-16th, members of Florida AgrAbility attended the UF IFAS Honey Bee Research and Extension Lab's annual Bee College. This weekend event hosts over 300 attendees and provides two-full days of classroom instruction on a variety of beekeeping topics and hands-on experiences in an apiary. Florida AgrAbility presented on accessible beekeeping, demonstrating a range of assistive technology that would be helpful in accessible apiaries.
Several Florida AgrAbility team members attended the National AgrAbility Training Workshop in Atlanta, Georgia, March 25th -March 28th . Florida AgrAbility presented a poster "Farmfield to Coastline," and co-presented on two panels: "De-stigmatizing Disability - How do we get there from here?" and "SRAP Panel Discussion on Taking the RESNA ATP Exam." Thank you, Georgia AgrAbility, and National AgrAbility for hosting a great week!
