Texas AgrAbility staff attended the AgrAbility NTW in Atlanta, Georgia, to network with other projects and gain education and resources. Staff members were able to interact with assistive technologies and connect with other projects to collaborate on initiatives. Texas AgrAbility Occupational Therapist Megan Skidmore and Total Farmer Health Coach Cene Cleaton also attended the AgrAbility NTW. They gained useful information to assist farmers and ranchers with disabilities.
Texas AgrAbility staff presented with Ohio AgrAbility staff at the AgrAbility NTW. The presentation "Cultivating a Peer and Mentorship Network in Your State" included testimonials from peer group members from each state. Ideas and strategies were shared from multiple states on how to engage peer and mentorship networks for AgrAbility clients.
