On Wednesday, April 17th, the Ohio State Department of Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering (FABE) held its annual Student Scholarship and Awards Banquet. The banquet, held at the Nationwide 4-H Center on campus, honors faculty, staff, students, and alumni for contributing to the department's advancement in 2024. Ohio AgrAbility is very proud that Dr. Dee Jepsen's capstone team won the FABE Outstanding Innovator Award for their project "Obstacles in Designing Assistive Technology within a Skid Loader for Low-Mobility Individuals." They also presented this topic at NTW in Atlanta and will be presenting it at the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers conference in Anaheim, California, in August.
