The month was filled with many activities for the South Carolina team. The first activity was to introduce the Clemson Life Program, located at Clemson University, to agriculture and activities they can achieve. The activity consisted of the group learning the use of tools to create a raised bed. The Clemson Life group was excited to make the raised bed and discover what could be grown in the bed. Another activity was to examine a tractor, and the AgrAbility team was there to explain the different parts of the tractor and how they work. The day was concluded with a trivia game where the Clemson Life students were to answer questions about agriculture. The winning team was given a prize.
The month ended with South Carolina AgrAbility hosting an advisory meeting to bring together those who want to see the South Carolina AgrAbility team succeed in bringing services to the state. The emphasis was to form a relationship with the assistive technology team in South Carolina to look at ways to work together for the benefit of the state. Able SC facilitated this meeting.
