California AgrAbility and the Center for Land Based Learning hosted a second Pizza for Producers. The event was held for farmer veterans (and families) and aspiring ones. There were free activities, including a tomato sampling station from Tomatoberry Farm, a tour of The Maples, and more. The California Chapter of the Farmer Veteran Coalition was there to share resources and information.

Later in the month, staff joined partners from Migrant Education at an annual outreach event. Farmworkers from all over the state migrate to the greater Sacramento region for a few weeks during the pear harvest. California AgrAbility staff also met with a former program participant who received assistance in obtaining vision care and new bifocal glasses.
