Michigan AgrAbility staff tabled at the AgroExpo in St. Johns, MI, in mid-August where they met several potential clients and attended grain bin and manure pit safety demonstrations with the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety (NECAS). With over 160 exhibitors and free attendance, the show is a significant agribusiness event in the region and great visibility for AgrAbility. Several past clients stopped by the booth, as well as a few potential future clients.

On the other end of the scale of agriculture and agribusiness, Extension staff also contributed to the Northern Michigan Small Farm Conference (NMSFC). Different components of the conference took place at various farms across northwest lower Michigan, and Extension Educator Samantha Wolfe participated in the "Farming Through All Ages and Transitions" roundtable discussion and the "Forest Bathing and Other Mindfulness Practices" farm tour. About 200 people attended the NMSFC with a total of 15 participating in these sessions.
