The fall 2024 Michigan State University Mechanical Engineering Design Day took place at the beginning of December. The AgrAbility-sponsored project this term was a rolling kneeler cart designed to help a client with foot pain tend to her lavender plants. This design was honored as the Best Capstone Design Project for the term. Design plans for the cart will be shared online at canr.msu.edu/agrability.

Staff and partners gathered for a strategic planning session in mid-December. Gathering everyone in one place was rejuvenating and refreshed the networks and ideas between new and returning staff, improved morale, and provided important insights from clients and partners alike. The facilitator encouraged everyone to get creative and led a "Dream Play Build" exercise where everyone shared a favorite childhood memory followed by working in small groups to create an ideal model of life - from which participants drew core themes towards AgrAbility.
