AgrAbility for Africa

A Ugandan man presenting a woman with a gas burner as another man looks onOn February 23rd in Nakawa, Kampala, Uganda, the AgrAbility for Africa staff participated in the "TUBAFEEKO ba Neighbor" initiative. Loosely translated from Luganda as "Let's Care About Our Neighbors," this partner-driven welfare support program was led by OneEarth-OneOcean and Uganda Junior Rangers. The initiative aims to bridge the energy and clean-water access gap by providing clean energy solutions and safe water to vulnerable fishing communities in the coastal and island regions Ugandans standing in a long line behind a box and bucket in front of each personof Lake Victoria.

As part of this effort, 10 clients of AgrAbility for Africa received donations, including water filters and clean-cooking 6 kg gas burners, significantly improving their access to essential resources.
