On June 11, AgrAbility for Africa staff participated in the international forum "A Look Ahead: AI and Innovative Inclusive Communication" to explore the potential of Signverse's inclusive communication technology. The event focused on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in assistive technologies and strategies for integrating these advancements into AgrAbility for Africa's client services, particularly for the deaf community across Africa. Key innovations discussed included 3D avatars, motion capture, and generative AI, all of which have the potential to revolutionize sign language accessibility.
The forum also examined how AI can reshape communication and restore effective interaction for farmers and farm workers, ensuring greater inclusivity in agricultural services.
