Some of Indiana AgrAbility's veterans were featured in a two-part podcast from INDATA (Indiana Assistive Technology Act Program) on July 18 and July 25. The host was Josh Anderson from IN AgrAbility's partner Easterseals Crossroads. Taking part were NAP/IN AgrAbility Veterans Outreach Coordinator Joe Ricker, Hoosier Uplands Indiana AgVets Coordinator Darin Chapman, and former Marine Corps member and farmer veteran Hack Albertson. In just a few minutes, these men covered their backgrounds, how agriculture helps veterans with disabilities, what kinds of assistive technology are available to help, and what resources they've come across that are particularly helpful to former military personnel who are interested and/or involved in agriculture. The two podcasts can be read and listened to HERE.
