AgrAbility for Africa staff members are creating a demonstration hub to break down barriers in African agriculture. The hub will showcase practical, low-cost solutions, including adapted tools, innovative techniques, and training programs to overcome physical, attitudinal, communication, and institutional challenges. By highlighting successful global and community-based initiatives, it will provide farmers with the knowledge to implement these adaptations, particularly for those with limitations, within diverse agri-food systems.
AgrAbility for Africa program manager Mutumba Faisal and staff are busy touring different farm enterprises sharing experiences as part of the broader strategy to build collaborations and partnership for the new accessible and inclusive demonstration hub designed to expand knowledge in setting-up and running accessible small holder farms for farmers faced with limitations.
