Ohio AgrAbility is grateful for the opportunity to assist Ohio farmers. Earlier this fall, Don, one of their farmers, passed away. His family contacted Ohio AgrAbility and said they were going to ask mourners to donate to Ohio AgrAbility in lieu of flowers. This kind and generous gesture emphasized the importance of the work AgrAbility does for farmers. A dear friend of Don and his wife wrote a letter to Ohio AgrAbility and expressed how important Ohio AgrAbility was to Don:
"Thanks to your program, he was gifted so many more years to do the farming he loved. Without the blessings from AgrAbility - I really don't think he would've lived this long and definitely would not have been as happy. This gave him dignity, purpose and joy. He was a giant among most men and so very respected.... I know the first thing he did was walk to a tractor, hop on and start farming the fields of Heaven. God just received the "Master Farmer" but he will never be forgotten. Thank you for all the opportunities you made possible for him. I hope this small donation can help another farmer as much as AgrAbility helped Don."
