AgrAbility of Wisconsin provided a four-session webinar series for staff from the Wisconsin Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and the Department of Health Services Independent Living Centers. The series, titled "A Day in the Life of a Farmer," offered insights into the daily routines and challenges faced by farmers across different sectors. Each session focused on a specific type of agricultural operation: vegetable/CSA, dairy, livestock, and crops. With between 85 and 100 participants attending each day, the series helped maintain AgrAbility's strong partnership with DVR by fostering continued collaboration and shared understanding of the needs of Wisconsin farmers.
AgrAbility of Wisconsin kicked off a new virtual Neighbor-to-Neighbor series in November, with additional sessions scheduled for December, January, and February. These relaxed gatherings are designed to foster connection and conversation among farmers, farm families, neighbors, and friends. Unlike traditional meetings, there are no formal presentations, just a welcoming space to share stories, ideas, and experiences. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch, get comfortable, and enjoy meaningful conversations with others in their community. Registration is required to receive the meeting link and dial-in details.
