In December, Ohio AgrAbility helped a farmer to safely work on his equipment. Larry had not been able to use a mechanic's creeper or to crouch down to work on equipment for years. Rural Rehabilitation Supervisor Randy Joseph worked with Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (Ohio's Vocational Rehabilitation agency) to provide Larry with a Power-Lift Aerocreeper. The Aerocreeper moves from a seated position to laying down, and back into a seated position, which allows Larry to access his equipment without risk of injury or being unable to stand up from being seated on the floor. Larry was grateful for the opportunity to safely work on his equipment, and said the Aerocreeper "is a life changer" for him. In the past he would need his wife to help him get off the floor. The increased safety and independence greatly benefit Larry and his wife. Ohio AgrAbility staff are very grateful to be a part of these life-changing equipment purchases.
