The Colorado AgrAbility Project, alongside its Goodwill partner program, FarmAble, and its behavioral health specialists, are hosting five winter workshops across the state of Colorado. These events aim to provide education and resources for farmers and ranchers with physical or behavioral health challenges, while welcoming everyone in the ag community. One of the rural rehab specialists, Hannah, will be launching her Functional Farmers training, focusing on ergonomics and body mechanics for farmers and including "take-home" stretches for laborious work environments. This presentation will also be featured at the upcoming National Training Workshop in collaboration with Maine AgrAbility. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

In other behavioral health-related news, the inaugural Colorado Agriculture Behavioral Health Summit brought together more than 60 participants from over 30 organizations to address the unique behavioral health challenges faced by Colorado's agricultural communities. Led in part by CSU Extension's Colorado AgrAbility specialists, the event strengthened understanding of agricultural stressors, expanded awareness of statewide resources, and fostered new partnerships among providers, agencies, and agricultural organizations. Participants reported greater readiness to support producers and farm workers and identified next steps to improve culturally responsive outreach and integrated behavioral health support across the state.
