Ohio AgrAbility staff co-presented on inclusive livestock shows at the Ohio Fair Managers Association Conference. The disability services coordinator joined colleagues from Sandusky, Clinton, and Warren counties, and a 4-H member from Jefferson County to present on "Building Partnerships to Create an Accessible Livestock Show: You Belong Here!" The presentations covered how to start an inclusive show, overviews of the shows in the four counties represented, and a how-to guide on planning and hosting a show (written by co-presenter Kaytlyn Graver, 4-H program assistant, for her masters project). Inclusive livestock shows across Ohio have become a great outreach opportunity and have brought attention to Ohio AgrAbility through articles and news stories (linked on the website).
