AgrAbility, Purdue Extension, Hoosier Uplands, and Veterans IN Farming hosted a multistate veteran event on March 28 where over 100 Veterans across the nation were given the opportunity to learn about horticulture, beekeeping, USDA programs, AgrAbility, and other topics. Staff were honored to have Indiana State Department of Agriculture Director Don Lamb as well as John Klar (author) speak to the group about upcoming initiatives in agriculture and motivate the audience to provide more healthy food to their communities.
