An international group from Taiwan visited MSU's campus at the end of April. They had the opportunity to visit farms and partner organizations around the state and spent a day with Ned and Sam to learn about assistive technology and adaptive processes in the greenhouse. They also visited the farm of a client with low vision to see how he continues to farm chickens and vegetables independently with the help of AgrAbility recommendations. The group had a local lunch at an urban farm and social enterprise that offers a three-season CSA for 250 families.

On June 26, Bev Berens and Samantha Wolfe joined collaborators from MSU's Division of occupational and environmental medicine to facilitate a 4-H Exploration Days farm safety and AgrAbility session. Twenty-five students investigated real case studies of farm fatalities, learned about farm hazards and mitigation strategies, and even completed farm tasks around the room while "trying on" different impairments. The session was a success with most students saying that they learned something about safety on the farm and that they would recommend the session.
