Non-profit partner Mandy's Farm is expanding its AmeriCorps program to extend workforce development supports to the NMAP farm apprenticeship program. They have been tilling and planting beets and Swiss chard. Peas, carrots, potatoes, and cilantro are coming up in the fields. Additionally, the Mandy's Farm apprentice program is cultivating relationships with the Los Lunas Agriculture Research Center, Chispas Farm, and Farm of Song for expanded farm experiences for farm apprentices. Mandy's farm is seeking one more farm site.
